Fox Sports, Dodgers and MLB Gear For Wednesday's Court Fight
(CBS) -- Three parties, Fox Sports, the Los Angeles Dodgers and Major League Baseball began maneuvering in preparations for Wednesday's hearing that will set the rules for an evidentiary hearing on Oct. 31 in Delaware.
Fox Sports fired a shot at the Dodgers, threatening to not air games next season if the team continues to go forward in seeking out a new television deal.
Meanwhile, MLB repeated its prior threat to kick the Dodgers out of the league and demands the sale of the Dodgers immediately.
The Dodgers contend that MLB does not have the authority to force an owner to sell its team.
Frank McCourt claims the proposed plan to sell the TV rights would take the Dodgers out of bankruptcy, while the league claims another liquidity crisis would ensue in 2013.
