LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A 25-year-old man was killed early Sunday in a crash on the Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway in Northridge, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The single-vehicle crash was reported at 3:46 a.m. on the westbound 118 just east of Sepulveda Boulevard,.

The victim was a passenger in a 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe that drifted from the roadway and crashed into a guardrail, overturning the vehicle, CHP officials reported.

The man reportedly was ejected and thrown from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle, identified only as a 20-year-old Northridge man, allegedly fled the scene, but was later arrested and booked on suspicion of manslaughter.

    1. Jessenia Martinez says:

Probably not, people like him think white people are all so innocent, even though they commit crimes like everyone else, it just seems that the news just wants to keep them out of their stories.

“Commit crimes like everyone else”? Sorry but no one I know or associate with run around committing crimes, this is a large different between the Caucasian and Hispanic community. How many white street gangs are there in LA? We, Caucasians, do not embrace lawlessness like the Hispanic community does.

      2. Mark Saul says:

Exactly! Well said! Look at the percentage of crimes committed, the graffeti, etc., etc., etc…. Then you will know the whole story. The 50’s and 60’s were great. Facts are facts are facts.

    2. Antoine Walker says:

  2. Timothy McGarry says:

I know, I’ll confirm the fact that I’m drunk as hell by fleeing the scene…
