Man's Death In Hacienda Heights Called 'Suspicious'

HACIENDA HEIGHTS (CBS) — A man was found dead Sunday afternoon  in Hacienda Heights, a sheriff's deputy said.

The man was found around 4:30 p.m. in the 1400 block of Riderwood Avenue, said Deputy Jeff Gordon of the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau.

The man -- whose identity is being withheld -- was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials called the death "suspicious."

At 7:30 p.m., sheriff's homicide detectives were en route to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death  Gordon said.
