(CBS) — Yahoo! Sports is reporting that the NFL is unhappy with the Farmers Field downtown stadium plan.

The report claims that NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell told LA Councilwoman Jan Perry and Bernard Parks Jr. that neither the league nor any team interested in moving there would agree to the business proposal set forth by AEG.

Perry wouldn’t talk to Yahoo! about the details of the meeting,  but she did talk to CBS2’s Jim Hill.

Hill asked Perry about the Yahoo! report, “Did it anger you to see that reported?”

“I can assume that whoever is saying that was doing it to create chaos and confusion to their own advantage. ” Perry also said, “He [Goodell] was well aware of all the actions taken by the city council and I think he was impressed by our level of activity and enthusiasm.
