$50,000 Reward Offered In Venice Robbery Of Mail Carrier
VENICE (CBS) — Postal officials Friday announced a $50,000 reward for information regarding the recent robbery of a mail carrier in Venice.
The robbery occurred about 12:15 p.m. on Sept. 22, while a U.S. Postal carrier was delivering mail near the intersection of Rennie Avenue and Rose Court, according to Stacia Crane of the United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS).
The USPIS released a composite sketch of the suspect, who is described as a Hispanic male in his late teens or early 20s with a medium build. He has dark hair and dark eyes and no facial hair.
The suspect is about 5'9", weighs around 170 pounds and was last seen wearing a blue bandana, T-shirt and cut-off shorts.
According to authorities, the suspect should be considered dangerous and shouldn't be approached.
