San Bernardino Man, 36, Wanted For Allegedly Having Sexual Relationship With Girl, 13

DOWNEY (CBS) — Officials in Downey Thursday announced they have issued an arrest warrant for a 36-year-old San Bernadino man they say had a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl.

Authorities believe Enrique Vasquez Rodriguez could be in Downey or Bell.

Downey Police Sgt. Alex Irizabel said that Rodriguez allegedly started the relationship between May and July and that it lasted several months. A police statement alleges the man would meet the girl in "clandestine locations" where he would engage in sexual intercourse with her.

The arrest warrant is asking for a $1 million bail.

Rodriguez has a criminal history. Police did not elaborate.

He is described as Hispanic, about 5 feet 7 inches and weighs about 185 pounds.
