Kobe Counters Italian League Offer

(CBS) -- Looks like Kobe Bryant is willing to play overseas during the NBA lockout after all, but for a hefty price. Bryant reportedly turned down an offer for $6.7  or nearly $740,000 to $900,000 per game  to play for Virtus Bologna, of the Italian League.

Bryant's asking price? $15 million and an opt-out clause to return to the Lakers if the lockout is ever resolved.

Bryant was born in Italy and speaks fluent Italian.

Kobe will make $25.2 with the Lakers next season.
