Presidential Visit Causes Street Closures And Traffic In WeHo

LOS ANGELES (CBS) President Barack Obama’s visit to the Southland Monday caused numerous street closures and traffic throughout West Hollywood.

Street Closures:

– Sunset Boulevard (from Doheny Drive to Sweetzer Avenue)
– Santa Monica Boulevard (from Doheny Drive to La Cienega Boulevard)
– Olive Drive (from Sunset Boulevard to Santa Monica Boulevard)
– Holloway Drive (front Sunset Boulevard to La Cienega Boulevard)
– La Cienega Boulevard (from Sunset Boulevard to Rosewood Avenue)
– Fountain Avenue (from La Cienega Boulevard to Sweetzer Avenue)
-Delongpre Avenue (from Fountain Avenue to Flores Street)

Many local businesses were forced to close early due to the traffic and closures, which upset many store owners.

The President will be back in California many times throughout the upcoming months to promote his re-election campaign.

    We need to tell this Campainer and Chief to stay in Washington and do his job. Stop showing up here just for money. Traffic is bad enough without this waste of human life causing more traffic.
