Ducks Make Several Roster Moves

ANAHEIM (AP) -- The Anaheim Ducks have assigned center Nick Bonino and right wings Kyle Palmieri and Dan Sexton to their minor-league affiliate in Syracuse.

Anaheim sent seven players to the AHL on Monday, trimming its roster to 30 players.

Sexton has scored 32 points while playing 88 games with the  Ducks over the past two seasons. Bonino has played 35 games with Anaheim over the past two seasons, while Palmieri made his NHL debut last season, scoring one goal in 10 games.

The Ducks also sent defensemen Mat Clark and Sean Zimmerman and forwards Peter Holland and Nicolas Deschamps to Syracuse.

Anaheim's roster still includes 19-year-old right wing Devante Smith-Pelly, who's attempting to jump from juniors to the NHL.
