Brewers Set Franchise Attendance Record

 

MILWAUKEE (CBS/AP) -- The Brewers say they will set a home attendance record during the final three days of the regular season.

 

The Brewers have sold 3,068,781 tickets this season as of Monday morning, surpassing the previous team record of 3,068,458 in 2008.

 

The NL Central champions are averaging 37,773 per game, seventh in the majors.

 

Milwaukee finishes the season in a series against Pittsburgh that began Monday night.

Meanwhile in Los Angeles, the Dodgers failed to draw 3 million fans for the first time since 1992.
