LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The jury in the Conrad Murray manslaughter trial was seated Friday afternoon.
A jury of seven men and five women will decide the fate of Murray who has been charged with involuntary manslaughter in the 2009 death of Michael Jackson.
The 12-member jury was chosen from a pool of 84 people. Throughout Friday, 26 potential jurors were dismissed due to hardship or peremptory challenges.
Four women and two men have been selected as alternates.
The trial is scheduled to begin Tuesday morning and is expected to last five weeks.
