Police Arrest 4 For Murder Of Pasadena Barbershop Owner

PASADENA (CBS) — Police have arrested four suspects --  two men and two women --  in connection with the death of a barbershop owner, officials said.

The body of King King, 43, owner of King King's Barber & Beauty, was found at about 12:45 a.m. Wednesday behind his shop in the 900 block of East Washington Boulevard, officials said.

Police detained the four subjects in the 900 block of Catalina Avenue, about a block and a half away from the barbershop. Devon Wesley, 22, of Los Angeles, Sabrina King, 18, of Compton, no relation to the victim, Alfred Mayes, 22, of Pasadena and Michelle McGowan, 23, of Pasadena, were arrested at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Pasadena Police Department.

Each suspect is being held on suspicion of murder with $1 million bail.
