$25K Reward Offered For Information Leading To Fatal Shooting Suspect

INGLEWOOD (CBS) — A $25,000 reward was announced Thursday for information leading to an arrest in the fatal shooting of a man in Inglewood two years ago.

Kevin Harris was shot multiple times and found in his car in the 3300 block of West 118th Place, near the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway and Crenshaw Boulevard, on Sept. 20, 2009, police said. Harris was pronounced dead at a hospital.

A motive for the shooting has not been established. Detectives now believe Harris might have been shot in a case of mistaken identity.

Detectives have exhausted all leads in the case and are asking for help from the public.

Anyone with information is asked to call Inglewood Police Department's Homicide Section at (310) 412-5246. People wishing to remain anonymous should call (888) 41-CRIME (7463).
