Parents Warned After Broken Glass Found Scattered At Burbank Playground

BURBANK (CBS) — Police warned parents in Burbank to watch for broken glass found under playground slides and sand at a local park.

KNX 1070’s Claudia Peschiutta reports investigators on Thursday continue to look into two separate incidents at Johnny Carson Park.

On Sept. 2 and Sept. 16, police got reports about broken glass in the park in the 400 block of Bob Hope Drive.

It was first found under two slides, police said.

“We don’t know if it’s done intentionally,” said Burbank Police Sgt. Robert Quesada. “Just be very careful when you’re out there with your kid.”

Anyone with more information was urged to call Detective Henry Garay at (818) 238-3263.

Any suspicious behavior in the park should be reported by calling police at (818) 238-3000.
