PALMDALE (CBS) — Authorities have discovered human remains near Lake Los Angeles.

Los Angeles sheriff’s deputies were called to the area of 130th Street East and Avenue R-4 Tuesday afternoon.

Officials say the badly decomposed human remains were found around noon. The identity of the victim is unknown.
