2 LA Coliseum Managers On Leave Amid Alleged Scandal

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Two managers at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum have been placed on paid leave in the midst of allegations of a growing financial scandal.

The Los Angeles Times reported that finance director Ronald Lederkramer has been granted medical leave and technology manager Leopold Caudillo Jr. is on administrative leave.

According to the Times, a firm founded by Caudillo and a coworker, who is also on medical leave, has been paid about $30,000 by the Coliseum Commission.

KNX 1070's Claudia Peschiutta says that records indicate that Lederkramer authorized most of the payments to the firm.

LA City Councilman Bernard Parks has said all three should be removed, along with interim general manager John Sandbrook.

"It's difficult for me to understand how the Coliseum is going through the worst financial scandal that it's hand in its history and the one employee that seems to have maintained his positive status is the CFO," Parks said.
