LOS ANGELES (CBS) —Detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Newton Division are hoping the release of surveillance video will help them capture a man suspected of robbing a South Los Angeles mini market last month.
The incident occurred about 4:55 p.m. on Aug. 12, in the 5900 block of South San Pedro Street.
According to authorities, the man entered the store, pulled out a sawed off shotgun and pointed it at the cashier while demanding money.
He then took off with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect, believed to be a 35-year-old Hispanic male, is 5’5″ and weighs between 190 to 210 pounds.
