LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Police are asking for the public’s help to catch an armed robber.

Officials say a man robbed a LA Mini-Mart on South San Pedro Street last month. The crime was caught on surveillance video.

Police said the suspect apologized to the clerk, in Spanish, for having to rob the place but that he “needed money.”

He also told the clerk he was “embarrassed” for having to rob him before he pulled out a sawed-off shotgun.

The suspect is described as about 5 feet 5 inches tall, between 190-210 pounds.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call LAPD detectives.

Do you think it might be Pedro ???

  2. Melvin Blake says:

To catch him? That’s easy, go to downtown LA and shout Jose! Whoever turns around is guilty. Doesn’t matter anyway, as they all look alike act alike. We should do what Arizona and Texas are doing. No exception.

  3. The Big Logic says:

The difference between a Mex and a Nigra robbing this store with a shotgun is the Mex apologized, whereas the Nigra would’ve pulled the trigger whether he got the money or not. Civility vs savagery.
