STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Gabe Canales of the Blue Cure Foundation visited the KCAL 9 studios Friday.
The Blue Cure Foundation was established to raise awareness, encourage annual screenings and promote a healthier lifestyle for men. According to statistics, 33,000 men will die from prostate cancer a year.
Canales was diagnosed with the disease at age 35.
