Play For Our Veterans At The 'Swagger Poker Showdown'

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — On Friday, September 16th, a portion of the Petersen Automotive Museum will be turned into The Swagger Poker Showdown.

The proceeds from the evening will benefit New Directions, a local charity providing comprehensive services to Los Angeles' veteran heroes.

Swagger co-founders and Air Force veterans, Matt Richter-Sand and Bobby Lady realize that many of their fellow veterans returning home from service overseas have difficulties adapting to civilian life.

They stopped by KCAL9 Wednesday to spill secrets about the special event.

The Swagger Poker Showdown, a No Limit Texas Hold 'Em Charity Poker Tournament, will begin at 7:00 p.m. with professional instructors offering crash courses in Poker, professional Vegas dealers and tables, premium open bar, celebrity players and more!

To buy tickets to the event, visit Swagger Poker Showdown.
