Federal Judge To Consider Crystal Cathedral Bankruptcy Case

GARDEN GROVE (CBS) — A federal judge Wednesday will consider the bankruptcy case involving the Crystal Cathedral.

Creditors want to sell the church to pay off its estimated $50 million in debt.

A judge will decide whether that plan will be allowed to move forward in the next 30 to 45 days.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange and Chapman University have both placed bids to purchase the cathedral.
