Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (September 12)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — The cut-off low that gave us some colorful weather over the weekend continues to bobble around the West Coast.

We will still watch for the possibility of some mountain and desert thunderstorms, but the active weather we saw Saturday will probably not return.

The marine layer will also get squashed just a bit, so look for temperatures to warm up a couple degrees from Sunday's highs.

We are still looking at temperatures in the low 80s in the basin, and low- to mid-90s for the valleys.

There will be very little change through the middle of the week with morning clouds, hazy afternoon sunshine, and temperatures running just a touch below average for this time of year.

Coastal -low 70s
Basin - low 80s
Valleys - low 90s
Mountains - upper 60s
Deserts - upper 80s to low 90s
