LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Authorities Sunday said a 64-year-old man was struck and killed by a motorist in unincorporated South Los Angeles.
The driver of a 1995 Toyota was headed east on Firestone Boulevard when he struck a man running south across the road near Miramonte Boulevard, according to the CHP. The accident happened about 9:20 p.m. Saturday.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
The Toyota driver was not cited in the accident pending the outcome of a CHP investigation.
