Ruling Clears Way For Start Of Jackson Trial Thursday
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — An appeals court has refused to order the jury sequestered in the trial of Michael Jackson's doctor, Conrad Murray, on the eve of his trial.
A state appeals judge Wednesday upheld a lower court's decision not to sequester jurors in Murray's involuntary manslaughter trial.
The move allows the trial to move forward Thursday as jury selection is set to begin in the morning.
Murray is accused of giving Jackson a lethal dose of the anesthetic Propofol that killed him.
