Diet Tips To Keep Mothers Energized For New School Year

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — September is upon us and kids are back in school. It should be a time when mothers can get a break but they often count it as one of their most stressful.

Ashley Koff visited KCAL9 Studios offering health and diet tips from her new book "Mom Energy: A Simple Plan To Live Fully Charged". Her plan helps mothers increase their energy and keep up with their hectic schedules.

In her new book, Koff shows moms how to eat right at every age, the foods that will suck your energy and why counting calories is not the key to weight loss. She also reveals an easy and quick 3-day detox that will revitalize your energy without leaving you starving or exhausted.

A registered dietician, Koff is often on camera as a diet expert on CW's "Shedding For The Wedding" and Lifetime's "Love Handles". She is ranked among the top 10 Dieticians in the nation by Today's Dietician and has contributed to several books on diet.
