2 Injured In Multi-Vehicle Crash On 14 Freeway

PALMDALE (CBS) — Two drivers were rushed to area hospitals after a three-car crash that closed part of the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway in Palmdale, the CHP reported.

The accident on the northbound freeway at Rancho Vista Boulevard was reported about 2:02 a.m. Saturday, CHP Officer Francisco Villalobos said.

The victims, both from Lancaster, were identified by authorities as 33-year-old Sergio Solano Horta and 25-year-old Vincent Harris Jr.

According to authorities, Horta was taken to Antelope Valley Hospital with major injuries while Harris to Palmdale Regional Hospital with moderate injuries.

None of the motorists involved were cited or arrested.
