LOS ANGELES (CBS) — We may know how to maneuver our way around some of the worst freeways in the country, but Southern California residents are not among the safest drivers in America.
An Allstate report released Thursday ranks the nation’s 200 largest cities in terms of car-collision frequency. The company identifies which cities have the safest drivers by studying claim data.
Allstate’s report says Fort Collins, Colo., is America’s safest driving city.
Here’s how Southern California cities ranked:
SAN BERNARDINO 67
THOUSAND OAKS 99
RANCHO CUCAMONGA 101
MORENO VALLEY 106
HUNTINGTON BEACH 111
SANTA CLARITA 124
LONG BEACH 134
GARDEN GROVE 164
LOS ANGELES 182
