WESTWOOD (CBS) — Police Wednesday released a security video of two men seen attempting to burglarize a home in Westwood, but only got away with the resident’s mail.
The crime occurred at about 3 a.m. on July 14, at a home on South Barrington Avenue, Los Angeles police said.
The homeowner’s security video was rolling when the men walked up with flashlights and looked through the windows.
They eventually tried to get in through a back door, but the home’s security system alarmed, leading to the men running off with only mail from the mailbox.
One of the suspects had long hair and stood about 6 feet 2 inches, police said. The other was about 5 feet 10 inches and 220 pounds, wearing prescription glasses and gloves.
If you recognize either man, call the LAPD at (310) 444-1523 or (800) LAPD-24-7.
