Clark Gable's Grandson Charged With Pointing Laser At LAPD Chopper

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The grandson of Hollywood legend Clark Gable appeared in court Friday morning.

Clark James Gable, 22, faces three felony counts of pointing a laser at an aircraft.

The aspiring actor was arrested in Hollywood last month.

Police say Gable was a passenger in a car traveling on La Brea Avenue when he allegedly pointed a green laser at an LAPD helicopter three times.

Investigators say two officers in the chopper were momentarily blinded by the laser beam.

Gable could get three years in prison if convicted of all the charges.
