MORENO VALLEY (CBS) — One person is dead and another injured after a head-on collision in Moreno Valley Friday.

The crash occurred just after 2:30 p.m., according to officials.

The accident happened at Gilman Springs Road, about two miles west of Alessandro Boulevard, said the CHP.

County Fire Department spokesperson Jody Hagemann said the collision resulted in the death of one person and “moderate injuries” to another.
