KFWB On Your Corner: DUIs On The Strand
(KFWB 980) — Many of the Southland's beach cities feature a large number of bars and restaurants and a thriving night life — especially for establishments along The Strand. But that can cause some problems with drunk driving.
The beach cities along with other communities in the area formed the South Bay Regional DUI Task Force. Gardena Police Sgt. Mark Nagow is part of that task force that has been renamed "Avoid the 100".
