Police Reportedly In Hot Pursuit Of Double Murder Suspect

VAN NUYS (CBS) — Police are reportedly hot on the heels of Brent Zubek, suspect in a double murder in Chatsworth.

The suspect has reportedly fired on a police officer.

The confrontation occurred at Havenhurdt and Libbit along Ventura Boulevard in Encino.

The body of a man and a woman were found in a dumpster in the Chatsworth home last week.

Zubek’s connection to the man and woman has not been made clear by authorities. But they did say Zubek lived in the home for a time.

When police announced him as a suspect they also said he was armed and dangerous.

On the video it didn’t look like much of a “hot pursuit.” Just a bunch of cops standing around.
