2 Shot, 1 Reportedly Beaten At 49ers-Raiders Pre-Season Game

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS/AP) — In acts of violence reminiscent of a Giants fan beating outside of Dodgers Stadium on opening day, several violent acts have been reported outside and inside Candlestick Park in San Francisco.

Officials say two people have been shot outside the stadium following a pre-season Raiders-49ers football game.

They also say one person was beaten badly inside a restroom and that victim has "life-threatening injuries."

Several fights also broke out outside the stadium in addition to the reports of the two people shot. One of those victims, 24,  is also described to have suffered life-threatening injuries. The other shooting victim, 20, is expected to survive.

The cross-town rival 49ers, of San Francisco, and Raiders, of Oakland are one of the most contentious rivalries in sports.

The victims names have not been released and police say they have no suspects.

They also did not say what fans the victims were or even if the men shot outside had attended the game.
