The coroner’s office has identified a 28-year-old Los Angeles man who was shot and killed in Hollywood on Wednesday.
Miran Ashikyan was shot near the intersection of Lemon Grove and Oxford avenues around 4:20 p.m., said Lt. Kitty McCracken of the coroner’s office.
Ashikyan was taken to the hospital by paramedics where he was pronounced dead, according to police and firefighters.
Two suspects were last seen headed toward Western Avenue in a black BMW, said Officer Gregory Baek of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations unit.
The motive for the shooting was not known.
