Forget The Leash! Palos Verdes May Soon Have Its Own Dog Beach

RANCHO PALOS VERDES (CBS) — Dogs in Southern California could soon have a beach of their own.

The Rancho Palos Verdes City Council has voted to explore whether a stretch of coastline near Portuguese bend would be suitable as an off-leash dog beach.

The special preserve for pooches would be just below the Trump National Golf Course on Ocean Tails (oops, we mean Trails) Drive.

If it goes through, it would be the first and only dog beach between Long Beach and Malibu.
