M2.7 Earthquake Shakes Yorba Linda

YORBA LINDA (CBS) — A magnitude 2.7 earthquake shook residents 29 miles east of Los Angeles early Wednesday morning.

The micro quake hit just before 2 a.m. in Yorba Linda. An aftershock, registering a magnitude 1.7, hit a short time later, according the United States Geological Survey.

There were no reports of any injuries or major damage from the two small earthquakes.
