"It's unfortunate it happened here," said one man. "It just shows there are degenerates all over the place."

Police have released surveillance video from one of the robberies which shows a suspect in a black ski mask and a shirt with the word "security" written on the back.

The suspect is seen pointing a gun at a cashier inside Bob's Market on National Blvd. near Palms Blvd.

One man who works nearby witnessed the robbery and says the suspects got in and out quickly.

"Five seconds....[they] disappeared," he said.

Police said in each robbery the suspects wore the same "security" shirts.

In at least two robberies they left in a black 4-door car -- possibly a honda -- while in another robbery they were in a white 4-door car with a sunroof.

Anyone with information on any of the robberies or the suspects is asked to call the LAPD at (310) 482-6392.
