2 Toddlers Nearly Drown On A Mission Hills Golf Course

MISSION HILLS (CBS) — Two children almost drowned Sunday afternoon at Knollwood golf course, a city fire official said.

The near-drowning was reported at 4:42 p.m. at 12055 Susan Drive, Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

The children, about 3 and 4 years old, were pulled from a swimming pool and airlifted to Holy Cross Hospital, Humphrey said. Their conditions were unknown.

    The only reason kids drown in pools is because of inattentive parents.

        Oh really…….And what do the experts and statistics say? If parents would watch their children then they would not have almost drowned. We need more info on this anyway. Too many unanswered questions at this point.

    This is what probably happened mom and/or dad are busy playing golf and laughing it up with their pals. 3 and 4 year old are running amuck . . .unsupervised. I see it happen all the time.
    PARENTS . . . if you are going to bring your kids, your priority is to watch them like a hawk. You don’t GET to play. Your only job is top watch the kids.
