Take Home A Piece Of Theater History At Garage Sale Prices This Saturday

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Take home a piece of the theater this weekend.

Geoff Elliott and Julia Rodriguez-Elliott, A Noise Within Founders & Artistic Directors, visited the KCAL 9 studio Friday to talk about this weekend's Glendale Theater garage sale.

The theater has been the home to A Noise Within, a year-round classical repertory company in Southern California, for 19 years. A garage sale is being held Saturday to raise money for the company's capital campaign that has raised almost $13.5 million. There will be huge discounts on scenery, props, costumes, wigs, furniture, lighting and lighting equipment, curtains, fabric, seating and more.

A Noise Within will be moving to their new home, a 33,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art venue in Pasadena after the sale.

The sale is Aug. 13 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. at234 South Brand Boulevard, Glendale, CA, 91204. Admission is $2.
