Man On Bike Allegedly Shoots 4-Year-Old Boy In Perris

PERRIS (CBS) — A 4-year-old boy was shot by a man on a bike, according to witnesses in Perris Thursday.

The shooting happened at approximately 4:40 p.m.

Police say the victim was not the target but caught in the crossfire when the gunman opened fire on a home in the 1500 block of Wilson Avenue, at Nuevo Road.

A bullet grazed the boy’s head. His condition has not been released.

Deputies scoured the area, but couldn’t find the shooter. The Sheriff’s Department anti-gang personnel were called to assist with the investigation.

This is not the first shooting in this area..this is the second shooting on my block in two weeks…I fear that my wife and kids will be hit in a crossfire of one of these shootings…police need to patrol the area on a regular basis

Why don’t you take action yourself, and start a neighborhood watch? Police can’t be everywhere at once. Grow a pair…

If this is the second shooting on your block in two weeks its time to move.

It took police almost 1 hour to respond to a phone call when i notified them my car was broken into in this perris ca neighborhood. They really need to be more alert and get to the situations a lot faster. There police work was the worst. I have never been more insulted by anyone then by there service to this community.

LOLOL Really? I’m sure they had more important calls to get to. You better be glad they even came. Most of the time the will make you goto the PD and file your own report. Stop wasting tax payees money.

    2. duh says:

So tell us Ric… exactly how fast do you think a PD should send a unit out TO TAKE A REPORT for a NON-VIOLENT CRIME that is NOT IN PROGRESS?

If you need to complain, at least be slightly realistic, much less insulted. Obviously your wife will leap to attention when you bark, but that’s just because she doesn’t want a matching black eye. The rest of us aren’t afraid of you, and request you wait in line like everyone else.

Deport the Armenians! Who else could be responsible for this action?

Mexican gang member is on the loose. No doubt.

I live in the same area around perris, we get no police patrols due to illegals in perris. All our tax dollars to fund a police dept being used to control the illegals, I can’t wait to move to arizona where your tax dollars go to protect “AMERICANS” not for illegal health care, schooling, welfare, and prisons to house illegals.

Perris, California has been home to the orange empire railroad museum since the mid 50’s. We can thank negroes & mexicans for destroying this nice crime free bedroom community that was once a great place to live and raise children. How many other communities have these two groups personally been responsible for destroying!.
