Car Plows Into Laundromat In Inglewood

INGLEWOOD (CBS) — A vehicle crashed through the front windows of a coin laundry business in Inglewood Monday afternoon, injuring two people, authorities reported.

A driver in a sedan apparently could not stop as they were exiting the Century (105) Freeway and drove straight into a laundromat at the corner of 112th Street and Prairie Avenue, according to the LAPD. The accident was reported at 4:35 p.m.

Two people were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries, police said.

Building inspectors have reportedly been called to the scene due to water damage in the business.
