Sketch Of Cal Poly Pomona Bathroom Attacker Released

POMONA (CBS) — A composite drawing of a man who sexually assaulted a woman in a Cal Poly Pomona bathroom was released by authorities Friday.

The attack happened about 12:45 p.m. July 28 in a bathroom near the university's campus running track and Parking Lot K, spokesman Tim Lynch said.

The man forced the woman, who was cleaning the facility, against a stall, exposed himself and asked for a sexual favor, but a noise outside the restroom spooked him and he ran away.

"We don't believe he is a member of the campus community," Lynch said.

The attacker was described as a 350-pound black man, about 40 years old and 5 feet 10 inches tall. He had short black hair and yellowed teeth and is missing an upper right tooth.

Anyone with more information was asked to call campus police from any Code Blue call box on campus or dial (909) 869-3070 from a cell phone.
