Santa Ana Police Hunt For Man Who Molested Girl Through Bedroom Window
SANTA ANA (CBS) — Santa Ana police were looking Friday for a man who reached through an open window to molest a 12-year-old girl who was sleeping in her bed.
About 4:30 a.m. in the 900 block of South Minnie Street, the man reached through the window and fondled the girl, Santa Ana police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna said.
The man's touch awakened her. She screamed prompting the man to flee, Bertagna said.
The suspect was described as a Latino man in his 30s with a thin mustache, Bertagna said. He was wearing dark clothing.
Police warned neighborhood residents to be on the alert for anyone acting oddly, Bertagna said.
"And don't put kids in beds next to open windows," Bertagna said.
