CYPRESS (CBS) — A memorial service will be held Friday morning for a Buena Park SWAT officer who died last weekend following a training exercise.

Officer Daniel Ackerman’s funeral will be held at Seacoast Grace Church in Cypress. A funeral procession from the church will then head back to Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Ackerman became ill during a training exercise last Friday and died the next day.

He was just 31 years old.
