Pac-12 South Feeling Slighted By Coaches’ Preseason Poll

(CBS) — Only two teams from the Pac-12 were ranked in the first Coaches’ Preseason Poll, Oregon is third and Stanford is sixth, both those schools are in the new Pac-12 North.

The Pac-12 South got shut out. USC was picked by the media to win the South, but they are not eligible to be ranked in the coaches’ poll. Arizona State, who is picked second by the media, came the closest to cracking the top-25, coming in at #26.

Utah came in 28th and Arizona 32nd.  The Bruins failed to receive a vote for the Top-25.
