Police Arrest Rialto Man In Mall Sexual Assault Case
MORENO VALLEY (CBS) — Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a sexual assault of a child in a mall bathroom in Moreno Valley.
Police say Moses Solis, 20, of Rialto allegedly followed a little girl into a restroom at the Moreno Valley Mall Sunday night around 6:15 p.m. and assaulted her.
The victim told a parent who was standing nearby and the parent notified police.
Officers looked for the suspect in the area but could not find him. Police reviewed surveillance footage that showed the victim entering the women's restroom and a man following her inside, later leaving the area.
Witnesses interviewed by police identified Solis as the suspect.
Solis was arrested Monday night without incident and booked for aggravated sexual assault of a child, sexual penetration of a child, lewd acts on a child under 14 years old, and secretly videotaping the undergarments of another person with the intent to invade their privacy.
