Dog Attacks Deputy Serving Search Warrants In Pot Sting
LANCASTER (CBS) —Sheriff's deputies raided marijuana-growing operations at two locations in Lancaster Tuesday, and in the process shot at a dog that attacked one of the deputies.
Search warrants were served at homes in the 4000 block of Lancaster Boulevard and the 3700 block of Pondera Street about 1 p.m., Lt. Richard Daniels of the Lancaster Sheriff's Station said.
Authorities said several suspects were taken into custody, although the exact number remains unknown at this time – as well as the dog's condition.
No other injuries were reported, according to Daniels.
