Fire officials are currently investigating the possibility of arson in a string of as many as 19 suspicious blazes.

All of the fires began in an area bounded by Lankershim Boulevard to the east, Vanowen Street to the north, Laurel Canyon Boulevard to the west and Burbank Boulevard to the south.

The first fire was set in the early morning hours of July 21.
