SAN BERNARDINO (AP) — About 2,500 Southern California Edison customers had their power knocked out by a strong thunderstorm that blew through inland Southern California Saturday night.
The storm downed power lines and lightning sparked at least three small wildfires in the San Bernardino National Forest.
U.S. Forest Service dispatcher Jamie Salas told the Riverside Press-Enterprise the biggest of those fires was west of Lake Arrowhead and consumed about 45 acres. No homes or structures were threatened.
