So-Called ‘Tri-Cities Bandit’ Wanted For 3 Bank Heists

BURBANK (CBS) —The FBI is on the hunt for a man suspected in three bank robberies in Burbank, Pasadena and Glendale.

The so-called “Tri-Cities Bandit” is linked to a June 13, robbery at Citibank on E. Magnolia Blvd. in Burbank; a July 19, heist at Wells Fargo on S. Lake Ave. in Pasadena; and a July 20, holdup at a Wells Fargo branch on N. Brand Blvd. in Glendale, according to Laura Eimiller of the FBI.

“During the robberies, the Tri-Cities Bandit enters the bank and approaches the teller with a note demanding money in large denominations,” Eimiller said.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, between 30 and 40 years old, with short, dark hair and a goatee. He is between 5 feet 5 and 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs between 150 and 160 pounds.
